The Yemeni army and popular committees on Saturday launched an offensive on Saudi military positions in Asir region, a military official told Saba News Agency.
According to the official, the army forces controlled several strategic positions in Tabat Alalam and nearby sites.
The official said that dozens of the mercenaries were killed and wounded in the attack which targeted their sites.
