In the early hours of Sunday, the Yemeni army forces were able to liberate al-Serr area in Lahj province, southern Yemen.

UAE-backed Security Belt mercenary forces withdrew from the area of al-Serr, which is the first district of Yafie District in the occupied province of Lahj, leaving behind all their military materiel as the Yemeni army forces approached the district.

The sources reported that a panic prevailed among the coalition militants upon seeing the attack by the Yemeni army and the Popular Committees.

The Yemeni liberators took control of strategic positions overlooking the district, especially in the Alud front of Dhalea province as well as strategic areas in al-Bayda province, most notably the Helmos Strategic Mountain in Thi-Nae’am district and the asphalt line between Dhaher, Humiqan and Yafie districts.
