Prime Minister Dr. Abdulaziz bin Habtour on Saturday called for studying the historical, tourist and cultural heritage of Yemen.
“The Yemeni tourist, historical and cultural heritage, which is unique and rich in diversity, requires further research and interest from the concerned national institutions and researchers,” Dr. bin Habtour said during his participation in the opening of the first tourism forum in the capital Sanaa.
The premier stressed the importance of preparing a unified tourist map based on accurate information for the great Yemen in its various provinces and areas.
Dr. bin Habtour indicated that the tourism sector is closely linked to the activity of all ministries.
He noted that the project of the Supreme Political Council and the National Salvation Government is “a national cultural and humanitarian project”, and that is why they adopted the national vision for building the modern Yemeni state, which is based on a deep-rooted cultural and social heritage.
