The Yemeni army and popular committees on Tuesday repelled an attack carried out by mercenaries loyal to Saudi-led aggression coalition in Asir region, a military official told Saba News.
Dozens of the mercenaries were killed and wounded in the battle, which took place in Raboua’a district, the official said.
Earlier in the day, the army forces launched a large-scale attack on sites of the Saudi army and its mercenaries in front of Alb crossing, killing and injuring dozens of them.
Furthermore, the army forces were able to liberate several Saudi military sites during the attack in addition to destroying five Saudi military vehicles.
