The capital Sana’a has on Friday afternoon witnessed a mass rally to commemorate anniversary of al-Sarkha, the slogan of the Ansarullah movement.

The participants chanted the Sarkha, which is a cry in the face of arrogance and dictators, and they also denounced the attempts normalisation of relations with the Zionist entity of Israel, that some Arab Gulf regimes have been trying to establish.

During the event, speeches, poems and chants were delivered that expressed the importance of the slogan in the face of the arrogant powers, as well as its role in directing the compass of hostility towards the enemies of the nation, and to thwart their projects in the region.

In his speech, Judge Abdul Wahab Mahbashi, a member of the Political Council of Ansarullah, said that the slogan of al-Sarkha was launched by the martyred founder of Ansarullah, Sayyid Hussain Badreddin al-Houthi at the school of Imam Hadi in the district of Marran, more than 17 years ago.

“The slogan of al-Sarkha was a spark unleashed in the face of American and Israeli projects aimed at domesticating the nation and depriving it of its freedom, dignity and holy places,” he added.

He stressed that the voice of Yemenis will sing the slogan of al-Sarkha, no matter what the challenges, stating that “the voice of the righteous will remain true and present in the face of the enemies.”

Dr. Ahmed al-Shami pointed out during his speech that the martyred leader, when he launched the slogan of al-Sarkha, expressed the suffering of millions in the world who have been killed by the fires and wars of the arrogant countries of the world. He said that the slogan came with pure theistic motives, and that the slogan is an important weapon in the intellectual battle against the enemy.

“The martyr leader Hussain Badreddin al-Houthi sensed the danger, and realised with his Quranic insight the threat that is staring at the nation, so he launched the project of “al-Sarkha”, as an awareness-raising project,” al-Shami said.

The participants also stressed on the importance of continuing the Yemeni nation’s steadfastness and funding of the fronts until final victory, confirming that the slogan reflects the “position of faith and humanity towards the enemies of God and proved its impact in the hearts of enemies.”
