The head of the national delegation, Mohammed Abdel Salam, on Sunday called on the United Nations to take responsibility for the continued closure of Sanaa International Airport.

He stressed that the United Nations was responsible for the death of the Secretary-General of the Union of Popular forces, Professor Mohammed al-Roba’ai, whose condition required treatment abroad.

“We have repeatedly addressed the United Nations about the case of Mr. Mohammed al-Roba’ai, who needed for treatment abroad, and unfortunately did not move in the spirit of the Kingdom of aggression to keep the Sanaa International airport closed,” Abdel Salam said in a tweet.

“This is what cannot be tolerated indefinitely,” he said, referring to the continued closure of Sanaa Airport.

On Sunday, the Union of Popular forces mourned the death of the activist and national figure Mohammed Abdel Rahman al-Roba’ai, Secretary-General of the Union and a member of the Supreme Council of the Union after long suffering with the disease.

In the face of the insistence of the states of aggression on the continuation of their raids and the closure of the land, sea and airports, the head of the national delegation stressed that the airports of the countries of aggression are potential targets, and closing or paralyzing the movement of these airports are the closest way to break the siege on Sanaa Airport
