26 people died in 229 traffic accidents during last June in Sana’a

At least  26 people were died and 250 were injured in 229 traffic accidents in the capital Sana’a, during last June, according to a report issued by  Traffic department of  Secretariat.
The Director of Traffic department of  Secretariat, Brigadier Ali al-Washli confirmed that the causes of accidents is due to non-compliance with rules and regulations of traffic, excess speed, wrong transgression, non-maintenance of cars and non-compliance with traffic guidelines.
The report indicated that the total losses resulting from these incidents amounted to 122,  300,000 riyals.
