The Yemeni army and popular committees on Monday managed to repel an attack carried by mercenaries hired by Saudi-led aggression coalition in Jizan province, a military official told Saba News Agency.
According to the official, the mercenaries tried to advance towards the army’ s positions in the Eastern part of Dood Mountain, but were forced into retreat.
The official confirmed that dozen of the mercenaries were killed and wounded during their foiled attack.
On Sunday, the army forces carried out an offensive against two sites of Saudi-hired mercenaries in the east of Jahfan mountain, inflicting heavy casualties on their ranks.
