The Yemen army and popular committees have carried out a new drone attack against important sites in Abha International Airport in the south of Saudi Arabia on Monday, the army spokesman said in a statement obtained by Saba News Agency

The Qasef-2K drones attacked the airport in province of Asir, causing a suspension of air traffic, military pokesman Brigadier General Yahya Sare’e said.

Sare’e added the air attacks came in retaliatory response to the war crimes, violations and air strikes launched by the coalition aggression against the Yemeni people and its infrastructure. In the 12 hours leading up to the drone strikes, the Saudi invaders had conducted no fewer than 15 air strikes.

“Our operations will be continued as long as the coalition goes on in the aggression and its siege against our country,” Yahya Sare’e warned.
