The leader of the revolution, al-Sayyed Abdul Malik Badr al-Din al-Huthi, met with the UN Secretary General’s Special Envoy for Yemen Martin Griffiths.
They discussed aspects related to the efforts of the UN envoy and his repeated tours, especially with regard to the file of prisoners and detainees and the completion of the implementation of the Swedish agreement.
The meeting also referred to the previous position in which Sana’a responded to the initiative of the Special Envoy on conducting a partial exchange of prisoners and detainees.
The meeting also discussed on the ongoing demand to complete the implementation of the Swedish agreement, especially on Hodeidah after the implementation of the redeployment from the national party.
They also discussed the economic understandings and the consolidation of revenues, especially in light of the worsening humanitarian situation and its multiple risks.
