The Yemeni army and popular committees has on Sunday fired a balletic missile (Nakal type) at gatherings of Saudi troops and mercenaries in Najran region, a military official told Saba News Agency.
According to the official, the Nakal strike hit military gatherings and reinforcements of the Saudi-led coalition forces and mercenaries off Sudias area.
The missile attack has left dozens of the mercenaries dead and wounded, in addition to inflicting heavy casualties on the military equipment.
On Saturday, the missile forces fired four Zilizal-1 missiles and artillery shells on gatherings of the Saudi soldiers and mercenaries in al-Sawh area, killing and injuring a number of them.
Moreover, the army forces foiled two infiltration attempts carried out by the Saudi-led mercenaries on army’s locations in al Kasaha in the same front, forcing the attackers into retreat.
The army forces managed to launch counterattacks against the Saudi invaders and mercenaries in the same area, inflicting on them heavy casualties.
Furthermore, several Saudi-hired mercenaries were killed and wounded when an improvised explosive device went off as they were passing in Reshahaha area. Meanwhile, the artillery forces bombed gatherings Saudi-led aggression forces and mercenaries in Boqa desert, causing direct casualties on their ranks.
