The Yemeni community members and a number of Arab civil society organizations on Thursday staged a vigil in front of the United Nations building in New York city to demand lifting of the ban on Sana’a International Airport.
The participants in the vigil raised banners demanding the lifting of the ban imposed by Saudi-led coalition countries on Sana’a International Airport, as Sanaa Airport serves all Yemenis without exception.
They called also for lifting the siege on other Yemeni airports and ports in general.
This vigil comes several months after the launch of an online campaign demanding the lifting of the siege on Sana’a airport and on Yemen in general, in conjunction with the third anniversary of the closure of Sana’a International Airport by the Saudi-led aggression coalition.
