Forces of the security belt confronted an attack by the Islah Party reinforced by terrorist elements on the outskirts of the city of Ahwar in Abyan province.
A source said that the forces of Islah Party led by Mohammed Al-Ouban launched this morning an armed attack aimed at Ahwar Directorate, which is under the control of the Transitional Council.
Politicians and activists in the province described the attack as a desperate attempt to blow up the situation in the district.
