Yemeni Ambassador to Iran, Ibrahim Al-Dailami, had on Sunday met with the Iraqi Ambassador in Tehran, Dr. Saeed Qandil.
During the meeting, they discussed the bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries.
The ambassadors touched on aspects related to enhancing cooperation frameworks to serve the common interests of both countries in light of developments in the region.
Ambassador Al-Dailami praised Iraq’s efforts to find a political solution to stop the Saudi-led aggressive war against Yemen and to block the advocates of the continuation of the war.
The Yemeni ambassador called on his Iraqi counterpart to play a bigger role and push for the success of the initiative of President Mahdi Al-Mashat, noting the efforts of the Republic of Iraq to solve the crises in the region
