The head of the Prisoners Committee in the negotiation delegation, Dr. Abdel-Qader Al-Murtada, confirmed the release of 10 prisoners from Sana’a to Hadi forces in Shabwa.
In the context, sources in Shabwa revealed that the deal also included the release of 4 members of Hadis’ forces from Shabwa’s sons.He pointed that the deal was done through local mediation.
This is not the first time that Sana’a has succeeded in concluding local deals. Hundreds of prisoners have been released on the Yemeni initiative, and this was recognized by the UN envoy, who confirmed the failure of Sweden’s agreement in this regard, while confirming the success of unilateral initiatives in a clear reference to the Sana’a’s initiatives, which succeeded in the release of hundreds.
