a leader of the Sothern Transitional Council forces and soldiers loyal to Hadi government were killed in violent clashes between the two parties in the Al-Mahfed district of Abyan Governorate, south of Yemen.
A local source said that the Transitional gunmen attacked a military vehicle belonging to the forces loyal to the Hadi government west of Al-Muhafid district, to spark violent confrontations between the two parties.
The source added that the clashes led to the death of the leader of the Transitional Forces, “Salem Koya al-Maqroumi al-Kazmi” and four soldiers from the Hadi government forces.
He pointed out that the situation is still tense in the region.
