The Yemeni Air Defenses intercepted on Saturday the formation of a combat component consisting of Saudi and Emirati warplanes with a number of Fater-1 missiles, in the sky of Nihm, east of Sana’a, Armed Forces Spokesman said.
He added that “Air defenses forced the warplanes to leave the airspace before carrying out any hostile missions in Nihm.
Air Defenses of the Yemeni Army and Popular Committees shot down a Tornado aircraft while carrying out hostilities in the sky of Jawf province, Armed Forces spokesman, Brigadier Yahya Sare’e said in a brief statement, on Friday, February 14.
He confirmed that “Yemen’s Sky is no longer oppressed and approaching Yemen airspace is prohibited and won’t be a picnic place for anyone”.
