An official Saudi newspaper attacked the mercenary government and called for the formation of an alternative government to replace the current government, which is based in the Saudi capital, Riyadh.
In an article published in the Saudi newspaper Okaz entitled “Can Yemen be Rescued by Such a Government?”
Hammoud Abu Talib saw that the Hadi government “residing abroad” is still facing challenges and discontent in addition to dubious loyalties from some within the Hadi administration who “collude” “With its enemies from the coalition,” he said, referring to the Yemeni government located in the capital, Sana’a.
The Hadi government, according to Okaz the writer of the newspaper, has proven to be a “burden” on Yemen and its supporters.
The writers argues that “it is absurd to rely on its members, who are distributed between capitals, and conspire against the coalition from within luxury hotels.”
Although he did not elaborate, Abu Talib referred to recent events that confirm his doubts, and that make some members of the mercenary government persons not deserving of financial, military or diplomatic assistance from the coalition
