The Yemeni army’s air defences shot down an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) belonging to Saudi-led aggression coalition forces over Jizan province, a military official said on Saturday.
According to the official, the aggression drone was downed with a proper weapon, while it was carrying out hostilities over the east part of Al Khobah area district in Jizan region.
Earlier in the day, The Yemeni Air Defenses intercepted a formation of a combating Saudi- Emirati warplanes with a number of Fater-1 missiles, in the sky of the Nihm district, east of Sana’a, Armed Forces Spokesman said.
According to the spokesman, the Air defenses forced the warplanes to leave the airspace before carrying out any hostile missions.
A Tornado aircraft was shot down by the Yemeni army while carrying out “air raids” on Jawf province on Friday, February 14.
