gunmen in Shabwa detonated an oil pipeline for the second time in a month.
Local sources said that the explosion occurred in a remote area of al-Rawda district.
The pipeline that transported oil between the production fields extending to Marib and the port of export in Al-Nushima was subjected to a similar explosion a few days ago.
These operations are escalating at a time when the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates are witnessing differences over the resumption of the export process.
Saudi Arabia seeks to export a new and large shipment from Marib for fear of the Sana’a forces controlling the oil province, while the UAE links this to handing over Shabwa to its followers in the Transitional Council.
