Yemeni army forces backed by popular committees were able to repel three infiltration attempts carried by Saudi-led aggression coalition forces on various fronts of Bayda and Marib provinces, Yemeni armed forces spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Sare’e said on Sunday.
The army spokesman explained that three infiltration attempts towards Ghaniya in Bayda and Sirwah in Marib lasted from Saturday evening until Sunday morning.
Sare’e confirmed that the enemy suffered heavy losses in military equipment, in addition to dozens Saudi-led mercenaries were killed and wounded during their failed attempts to make progress on the ground.
The spokesman added that the coalition launched seven airstrikes on several areas of Marib and Jawf provinces.
