The Yemeni security forces seized 280 crimes in a number of the Yemeni provinces over the past week, according to a statistic issued by Ministry of the Interior on Tuesday.
The official statistic indicated that the most prominent of the seized crimes that included murders, theft, trafficking drug and hashish, and promoting illegal currency in the provinces of Ibb, Saada, Taiz Sana’a, Bayda, Hajjah, Dhamar and Raima.
As a result of intensifying investigations and following up on wanted persons and those with precedents; During the past week, the security services managed to arrest 656 wanted persons accused of committing crimes, and 61 criminal elements of the US-Saudi aggression.
The official affirmed that the accused men were referred to the security custody to complete the legal investigations.
