The Supreme Political Council (SPC) of the revolution leader, the national rescue government and the Yemeni people mourned on Tuesday the Minister of Youth and Sports Hassan Zaid, on Tuesday, 27 October 2020, 66, was assassinated after being shot by gunmen in the Yemeni capital Sanaa.
He held the Saudi-led mercenaries responsible for this abominable political crime, which was declared before by the aggression alliance as a financial reward for anyone who gives information about him for his death.
The statement considered this crime comes within the context of the horrible massacres of aggression in Yemen and its political crimes against the martyrs, in front of which is the martyr President Saleh Al-Samad, Dr. Ahmad Sharaf Al-Din, Dr. Mohammad Abdul Malik Al-Mutawakel, Dr. Abdul Karim Jadban and the political journalist Abdul Karim Al-Khiwani.
The Supreme political Council reassured the Yemeni people, who are preparing for the great central effectiveness to celebrate the anniversary of the Prophet’s birth on Thursday, that the security services will pursue the perpetrators to be punished.
The Council confirmed that these crimes could not be subject to any statute of limitations.
Hassan Muhammad Zaid is a Yemeni politician, born in the old city of Sanaa in 1954, who was a founder of Al-Haq Party and his Secretary-general, and one of the founders of the Joint Meeting Party bloc.
Hassan Zaid was one of the most prominent national figures who faced the aggression with all his power.
