Head of the National Committee for Prisoners Affairs, Abdulqadir Al-Murtadha, revealed that he had received a notification from the United Nations to postpone the negotiations on prisoners’ issue.
Al-Murtadha said in a tweet, “The United Nations informed us to postpone the date of the negotiations round that were scheduled for Thursday, to an unspecified date.”
Earlier this week, the National Committee for Prisoners ‘Affairs received an official invitation from the United Nations to attend a new round of negotiations on the prisoners’ issue, which would start on November 19 in the Jordanian capital, Amman.
