Foreign Minister, Hisham Sharaf Abdullah, sent a message of condolences to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Austria, Alexander Schallenberg, for the victims of the terrorist incident that occurred Monday evening in the capital, Austria, killing and wounding of a number of civilians.
“Yemen’s condemnation of terrorism in all its forms and manifestations at the local or international level, which is practiced by individuals, groups or states, reiterating the need to intensify efforts to combat and eradicate it”, he said.
He stressed the need to abandon hate speech and contempt for religions and religious symbols, and to promote dialogue between religions and civilizations.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs expressed the solidarity of the Republic of Yemen with the Republic of Austria in this terrorist incident, and its condolences to the government, the people and the families of the victims.
