US Agreed to Sell F-35 planes to UAE

US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo announced that Washington decided to provide the UAE with advanced defense capabilities, noting that “the authorities agreed to sell Emirati warplanes (F-35).”

According to “Reuters,” Pompeo said, this evening, Tuesday, that “the State Department intends to authorize the UAE to purchase advanced defense equipment worth 23.37 billion dollars.”

“The approval includes up to 50 (F-35) Lightning 2 aircraft, up to 18 MQ-9B drones, and a range of air-to-air and air-to-ground munitions,” Pompeo said.
