The Minister of Defense, Major General Mohammad Nasser Al-Atifi, affirmed that popular steadfastness in the face of aggression has proven to the whole world the cohesion, strength and eminence of the Yemeni people that determined to triumph for their will and right to freedom, dignity, sovereignty, unity and independence.
“The Yemeni people, with the revolutionary, political and military leadership, set out on the struggle and steadfastness paths with courage and faith,” Major General Al-Atifi said.
He stressed that the Yemeni people have not and will not surrender to the destruction and death that America, Israel want for Yemen.
The Minister of Defense pointed to the major achievements at the military level, rebuilding the Armed Forces and strengthening the defensive and offensive capabilities of the Republic of Yemen during the past training year and this year, which is one of the most important stages that the country has gone through amid the aggression and siege.
He praised the qualitative successes of the Yemeni military industries, which were able to achieve major achievements in the field of developing and modernizing strategic deterrence weapons.
The Minister of Defense considered the declared and secret normalization with the Zionist entity by the countries of the aggression as a betrayal of the nation, and evidence of the degradation of those subservient regimes in Washington and Tel Aviv.
