Parliament’s speaker condemns aggression’s shelling on wedding hall in Hodeidah

The Speaker of Parliament, Yahya Ali Al-Rai, strongly condemned on Saturday the Friday’s artillery shelling carried out by Saudi-led aggression coalition and its tools on a wedding hall in Al-Hawak district in Hodeidah province.

“The shelling on the wedding hall, which killed three citizens and wounded seven others, is a war crime  that is added to the series of crimes committed by the aggression coalition against the Yemeni people for six years,” Al-Ra’i said in a statement.

Al-Rai pointed out that the continued escalation, targeting and direct bombardment of residential areas and civilian objects confirms the extent of the disrespect of the coalition of and its tools for the Yemeni people’s lives.

He held the United Nations and human rights organizations that claim to sponsor human rights responsible for this crime.

The parliament’s speaker called on all parliaments, the United Nations, the Security Council, human rights and humanitarian organizations and all free people of the world, to pressure the coalition countries to stop their crimes against the Yemeni people.

On Friday evening, the aggression coalition forces bombed with artillery a wedding hall in Al-Hawk district of Hodeida, killing three citizens and wounding seven others.
