The Ministry of Public Health and Population confirmed that if the aggression continues to prevent the entry of oil derivatives, hospitals will be transformed into cemeteries, and thousands of patients, children, women and men will be sentenced to death.

The official spokesperson for the Ministry of Health, Dr. Najeeb Al-Qubati, explained that the continuation of maritime piracy and the prevention of entry of oil derivatives will lead to the suspension of the services of 141 health facilities from working.

He warned of a health catastrophe, as life-saving interventions for thousands of patients would stop in many departments, especially emergency, obstetric and neonatal emergencies, operating rooms, intensive care, neonatal incubators, and dialysis units, as well as the stopping of medical equipment and oxygen-generating plants.

He stressed that the continuation of the blockade and preventing the arrival of oil derivative ships further exacerbated the health situation and would cause catastrophic humanitarian repercussions in addition to the bombing and destruction that this sector was subjected to by the US-Saudi aerial aggression.

He pointed out that more than five thousand patients need dialysis sessions twice a week, more than 200 thousand cesarean sections, and many newborns need to sleep in incubators, in addition to the needs of hospitals for the continuation of emergency work and operations and the operation of intensive care departments, which requires providing them with oil derivatives.

He held the United Nations and the aggressive Saudi and UAE coalition responsible for what the situation will lead to in the coming days, which warns of a humanitarian catastrophe threatening the Yemeni people.

A spokesman for the Ministry of Health called on the international community and the United Nations to pressure on Saudi and UAE to allow the entry of oil derivative tankers to the port of Hodeidah and not to detain them in the future.
