The European-Saudi Organisation for Human Rights said on Saturday that the Saudi authorities are using the “combat against terrorism” as a cover for their systematic repression.
The human rights organisation confirmed that the Saudi authorities “practice systematic and severe repression against human rights defenders, and pursue them because of their work and activities.”
“These authorities are using bad laws such as the anti-terrorism system and the system for combating information crimes against them,” the organisation said in response to the Saudi authorities’ denial of practicing violations against human rights defenders.
