President of Yemen Mahdi al-Mashat has said that Saudi-led coalition’s countries talks about peace while continuing their aggression and siege is “nothing but propaganda to cover up their heinous crimes against the Yemeni people.”

The President said that the continuation of the suffocating US-Saudi blockade and aggression against the Yemeni people for the seventh year in a row “proves to the world that the aggression countries, led by America, are stripped of all human values.”
He pointed out that the coalition’s tools are not worthy of responsibility and are dishonest in regards to people’s lives, money and living conditions.
The president stressed that any escalation will be met with a greater escalation, and said that the states of the coalition must leave the language of war and move towards peace.
President al-Mashat also stressed the Yemeni people’s commitment to their right to self-defence and to confront the aggression and siege by all available and legitimate means.
The President furthermore announced an amnesty for prisoners sentenced who had served two thirds of their sentences .
He affirmed that “the Yemeni people’s adherence to the Islamic brotherhood is a principled position that cannot be abandoned or bartered.”
