At least three children were killed on Friday in Saudi artillery shelling targeted border residential areas in Saada province, northern Yemen, a security official said.
The Saudi shelling targeted Al-Raqaw area in the border district of Monabbih, which led to the killing of three citizens, the official explained.
This comes 24 hours after the Saudi forces bombed the same area that has been violent escalation for two weeks, killing three citizens and injuring two others.
Saada’s border districts are daily subjected to constant rocketry and artillery bombing, causing large amounts of casualties and extensive damage to citizens’ homes and property.
