A spokesman for the Yemen Petroleum Company, Eng. Essam Al-Mutawakel, confirmed on Tuesday that the Saudi aggression has not allowed, since 2021, the entry of one fuel ship, indicating that what has happened is the release of a diesel ship.
Al-Mutawakel pointed that until March the aggression continues to detain 5 fuel derivative ships and a gas vessel.
He said that all the detained ships at sea only cover the need for two weeks.
He added that the beneficiaries of oil derivatives are all the Yemeni people, not a specific party.
He pointed out that importing companies are no longer able to import due to the continued piracy and the cost involved.
A spokesman for the Petroleum Company stressed that the insistence on linking the humanitarian file to other files is unacceptable blackmail aimed at starving the Yemeni people.
