Member of the Supreme Political Council, head of the judicial system, Mohammed Ali Al-Houthi, discussed in an expanded meeting on Wednesday a number of issues related to judicial reforms.
In the meeting, which included the President of the Supreme Judicial Council, Judge Ahmed Yahya Al-Mutawakil, and Deputy Prime Minister for Defense and Security Affairs, Jalal Al-Ruwaishan, touched upon the needs and requirements of the system in a way that enhances its role in achieving cases and justice.
The attendees heard several proposals regarding addressing the situation of the judicial institution, and some draft legal amendments aimed at accelerating justice procedures and making the right decisions.
They stressed the importance of evaluating the performance of the justice system, the security services and the prosecution during the previous period, and implementing supportive measures to address the situation of the judiciary in accordance with the regulations in force.
