Former Deputy Governor of Al-Mahra governorate Sheikh Ali Salem Al-Huraizi stressed the continuation of the popular escalation by all available means to expel foreign forces in Al-Mahra governorate.
In an official meeting in the presence of a large crowd of the people of al-Mahra, leaders, sheikhs and social figures, the peaceful sit-in committee in the governorate approved the popular escalation to expel British, Saudi and Emirati forces from the governorate.
The committee discussed the latest developments taking place in al-Mahra, calling on all citizens of districts and political components to escalate and confront by all available means to expel the occupying forces.
In this regard, the head of the National Delegation Mohammad Abdulsalam said, in interview with the al-Khanadeq website, the UK presence on Yemen’s soil is not new and Yemenis reject any form of foreign presence on their land and it is their right to fight those who come to invade their country militarily.
The people of al-Mahra continue to protest, rejecting the presence of any foreign forces in the governorate.
A statement issued by a peaceful sit-in gathering of al-Mahra people confirmed that the arrival of British forces to the province under the pretext of protecting marine waters is one of the conspiracy schemes to control Yemen’s wealth, and a flagrant violation of national sovereignty.
Al-Mahra Governor Ali Al-Farji pointed that the British forces that arrived in the governorate aimed to control strategic sites with coordination with the Saudi-Emirati occupation.
He called on all free people in al-Mahra, to strengthen unity and cohesion and stand firmly against these conspiracies.
The governor praised the positions of the people of al-Mahra in the face of US-Saudi projects, calling at the same time the people and tribes of al-Mahra to confront the schemes that target the security, sovereignty and independence of Yemen.
