President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Ibrahim Raisi received on Wednesday the delegation of the Republic of Yemen, headed by Mohammed Abdulsalam, representative of President of the Supreme Political Council Mahdi Al-Mashat.
An official reception ceremony was held for the delegation of Yemen at the headquarters of the Presidency of the Islamic Republic in Tehran, where the delegation presented the Iranian President congratulations on his election to the Presidency of the Islamic Republic and assuming his duties officially.
During the meeting, a wide-ranging discussion took place to review the developments in the region, where the delegation’s sources described the meeting as important.
The Yemeni delegation had arrived in Tehran in response to an official invitation to participate in the swearing-in ceremony for President Ibrahim Raisi, which will be held tomorrow, Thursday, at the headquarters of the Islamic Consultative Assembly (Parliament) in the presence of senior officials of the Iranian state and 115 official officials from 75 countries.
