President of the Supreme Political Council Mahdi al-Mashat has received a cable of thanks in response from Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi in response to the congratulations he sent to him on the occasion of his victory in the presidential elections.
In the telegram, the Iranian president praised the steadfastness of the Yemeni people in the face of aggression for the seventh year in a row.
He affirmed the Islamic Republic of Iran’s solidarity with the oppression of the Yemeni people and the brutal aggression and unjust siege they are being subjected to.
The Iranian president also stressed keenness to expand the horizons of cooperation between the two countries and the two brotherly peoples in various fields to serve their common interests.
