Sana’a lights up in green light to celebrate Prophet Muhammed’s birthday

The capital Sana’a is lit up in green at night, as the Yemeni people celebrate Mawlid An-Nabawi, the birthday of the Islamic prophet Muhammad.

The Yemenis have their own way to celebrate the Prophet Mohammed’s Birthday.They decorate their vehicles ahead of celebrations of the birthday of the Islamic Prophet Mohammad.

Mass preparations are under way. Most of all the streets of the capital Sana’a, are decorated with green lights.

During the night, all state facilities and buildings are illuminated with a green light. The atmosphere gives the walkers spirituality and tranquility.
