Saudi media said that a drone targeted Abha International Airport, injuring four of its employees.
They Stressed that the attack caused material damage to the airport, and disrupted air traffic.
In the context, Saudi activists reported on (Twitter) that they heard explosions in Khamis Mushait believed to be caused by an attack on King Khalid Air Base.
The attack came amid the Saudi coalition’s intensification of its raids on Yemen, as it launched 17 raids on the districts of Al-Juba, Al-Abdiya, Sirwah and Madghal in the Marib Governorate, eastern Yemen.
It also launched 5 raids on the Al-Araj area in the Bajil district and two raids on the Al-Salif district in the Hodeidah governorate in western Yemen, and it carried out a raid on the Haradh district in the Hajjah governorate in northern Yemen.
