“The bombing of the Sana’a Airport by the US-Saudi aggression warplanes is a complex war crime, ban and bombing, against the Yemeni people” the member of the Supreme Political Council Mohammad Al-Houthi said on Tuesday.

“Previous repeated attacks on Sana’a International Airport, which was prepared to transport Yemeni patients and travelers, are terrorism against the Republic of Yemen” Al-Houthi said, in a series of tweets on his account.

“As usual, the United Nations will not take a stand against this crime, I expect, and the coalition will claim that it was not the one who closed the airport, to repudiate the war crime it has committed,” he added.

He stressed that the bombing of Sanaa International Airport targeted the United Nations and its organizations operating in Yemen directly, as they are the ones who use it and can obtain permission to land there.

The US-Saudi aggression launched, Monday, a series of raids on Sana’a International Airport, causing great damage to the airport facilities, which made it out of readiness.
