A senior commander in the Saudi-led aggression coalition forces was killed on Monday during clashes with Yemeni army forces at the southern entrance to Marib city in eastern Yemen.
According to the sources, Major General Nasser al-Thaibani, commander of military operations in the pro-aggression forces was killed in the front of al-Balaq in Ma’rib.
Al-Thaibani is considered the third-highest ranking official in the aggression forces, being field commander of the mercenary forces in Marib.
He was known for his fiery remarks against the United Arab Emirates, accusing Abu Dhabi of deliberately targeting Hadi forces with airstrikes on the Sirwah front. His criticism of the Emiratis resulted in him being subjected to several assassination attempts, which he managed to survive.
