Yemeni air defences have on Monday night shot down a reconnaissance fighter plane belonging to Saudi-led aggression coalition forces over the airspace of Shabwah province, southern Yemen.
In a brief statement, Yemeni Armed Forces Spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Sare’e said that the Air Defences managed to down a CH4 Chinese-made surveillance fighter jet belonging to the Saudi-led forces , while it was carrying out hostile acts over the airspace of Usaylan district
The drone was targeted with a locally made surface-to-air missile, according to the statement.
