Secret documents revealed the involvement and direct military participation of United States in the war against Sayyed Hussain Al-Houthi and the wars against Saada Governorate, starting in June 2004.
The documents showed the extent of coordination for the visit of the commander of American forces in the Horn of Africa to Yemen and his meeting with the leaders of the ministries of defense and interior in Sana’a, during the first war against leader Sayyed Hussain Al-Houthi.
The documents presented, minutes of the meeting of the Supreme Security Committee, which included the directive to eliminate Ansarullah in Saada within 72 hours before the arrival of the commander of the US Central Forces to Yemen.
The documents also revealed information about the Yemeni Foreign Minister’s request from Italy to provide support for the war against Sayyed Hussein Al-Houthi, in which he talked of the support Yemen is getting from other countries like France and the US.
