Emirati occupation forces and their militias displaced the residents of Abd al-Kuri Island in the Yemeni archipelago of Socotra.
Informed sources confirmed that the Emirati forces expelled dozens of families from their villages on Abdul Kuri Island, in preparation for turning the island into a military base for the Zionist entity.
The sources pointed out that the UAE occupation forces, during the last period, started building a sea lane to receive military ships on the Yemeni island of Abd al-Kuri, after completing the construction of an airport runway on the island.
Abd al-Kuri Island is one of the most important Yemeni islands belonging to the Socotra archipelago, and there are 6 oil sectors controlled by the occupation forces and exploited for their benefit, while the residents of the Yemeni archipelago suffer from a stifling fuel crisis.
