Yemen’s Minister of Defence, Major General Muhammad Nasser al-Atifi has inspected the conditions of the Yemeni army forces on the fronts in the axes of Najran and Hamdan bin Zeid.

The Minister of Defence conveyed the congratulations and praises of the Leader of the Revolution, Abdul-Malik al-Houthi to the army and Popular Committees “on the occasion of the National Day of Steadfastness and for the great victories they have achieved over the forces of evil and tyranny in all fields.”

He confirmed that “the eighth year will be a starting point towards more overwhelming victories against the invading aggressors.”

“We would never have imagined that that there would be an attack from an Islamic state on another Islamic state. However, the Zionist occupation entity forced the aggression’s countries to attack Yemen. Therefore, the aggression on our country forced us to respond to this cowardly attack. It comes from the principle of legitimate defense to defend the homeland,” General Muhammad Nasser al-Atifi said, stressing that “Yemenis will continue to fight, struggle and resist until the liberation of the entire territory of Yemen.”

He called on the countries of Saudi-led aggression to understand the changes and developments of the current phase in all its strategic dimensions.

Moreover, he called on the aggression’s countries to “stop their aggression, lift their siege and tend to the requirements of peace and stability in the region, or else the choices of the Yemeni people and their Armed Forces will be manifold in defence of homeland, freedom and dignity.”

He stressed that “there are millions of free Yemenis with their hands on the trigger and ready to join the all-out offensive battle, if the aggressors continue their aggression and siege.”

Addressing the citizens in Jizan, Najran, Asir, Hail, Qassim, Tabuk and all the population of Najd and Hijaz, the Major General said, “The Army of the Republic of Yemen has the morals of mujahideen. It has not and will not target civilians at all.”
