Yemen’s parliament referred on Monday a bill criminalizing normalization with the Israeli entity for final study.

Deputy Speaker of the parliament in Sana’a, Abdul Salam Hashoul, said in a news statement that the bill has been referred to the Special Committee in the House of Representatives for study.
In a press statement, Hashoul affirmed that the project would be voted on after completing the final draft.

“The government officials are scheduled to attend to express their views on the bill during the upcoming sessions, in addition to the Council’s work on revising the provisions of the law,” the statement explained.

Hashoul added, “We want a strict law that reflects the position of the Yemeni people in the face of the Zionist enemy entity.”
