Gunmen assassinated a businessman in Lahj governorate, Tuesday, and a merchant was killed in Abyan, in light of the spread of assassinations and killings in the US-Saudi occupied governorates.
According to local sources, gunmen assassinated a well-known businessman, Mohsen Saleh Al-Rashidi, and two of his sons, in Yafa, Lahj Governorate.
The sources pointed out that the gunmen opened fire extensively on Al-Rashidi businessmen in Al-Mahmal Yafa’a market, killing him, his son and his grandson.
The sources indicated that the incident resulted in the injury of seven others, some of whom were guards of the businessman Al-Rashidi, in addition to the injury of other citizens who happened to be at the scene of the accident.
Livestock dealer was killed in Abyan governorate and his goods were looted. According to local sources in Lawdar area, Abyan governorate, unidentified gunmen intercepted livestock dealer Ali Makhfiq while he was passing aboard his truck loaded with livestock in Lawdar city and killed him, looted all his belongings.
The southern governorates witnessed the highest level of crimes and violations. The annual report issued by the Media Center for the Southern Governorates stated that it had documented 1259 crimes and serious violations during the past year, including 159 assassinations as a result of the conflict between the militia of the Southern Transitional.
