Mahdi Al-Mashat, President of the Supreme Political Council met on Sunday with Minister of Legal Affairs Dr. Ismail al-Mahaqeri.
In the meeting, al-Mashat and al-Mahaqeri discussed the progress of work in the ministry and the efforts to reform the legal system of state agencies within the paths of building the modern Yemeni state.
They touched on the plan of the ministry for the current year, and the implemented rehabilitation and training programs in the legal field to strengthen institutional work.
President al-Mashat stressed the importance of making more efforts to improve legal performance and follow up on state cases before the judiciary.
He stressed the need to pay attention to training and qualifying legal cadres in various state institutions to enable them to play their role to the fullest, and to establish institutional work according to legal foundations.
