The Shura Council’s Presidency, in its meeting Saturday headed by the Council Speaker, Mohammed Al-Aidarous, condemned the continuation of the series of crimes and banditry carried out by the Saudi-led coalition mercenaries in a number of southern “occupied areas.”

The Shura Presidency denounced the terrorist assassination that targeted the journalist, Saber Al-Haidari, with an explosive device planted by the aggression mercenaries in his car, and claimed his life and two others in Aden province late last week.

It also deplored the crime of raping six girls in Al-Juweir and Al-Suwaihra areas of Hays district in Hodeidah province by the mercenaries of the US-Saudi-Emirati aggression coalition.

The Shura Presidency held the aggression coalition legally and morally responsible for all the crimes and grave violations that the people of Yemen are exposed to.

It demanded that the United Nations quickly opens an independent investigation into these crimes and the other ones against journalists and women, as well as the ongoing banditry crimes against travelers in the areas controlled by the aggression mercenaries and others.
