The General Authority for Regulating Land Transport Affairs condemned the severe damage suffered by the locomotives and trucks due to cutting off roads between Sana’a and the occupied provinces by the aggression mercenaries.
The authority explained in a statement issued today, received by the Yemeni News Agency (SABA), that the blocking of roads has caused great suffering to the drivers and owners of locomotives and cargo trucks.
The authority confirmed that the aggression mercenaries continued to block roads and did not accept the initiative of the Supreme Political Council to open roads, which greatly doubled the suffering of drivers and owners of locomotives and cargo trucks.
The statement pointed out to the abuse and levies that transport trucks are subjected to, as well as the threat, killing or looting of many drivers by the so-called security points of the aggression mercenaries.
The authority said in its statement, “The refusal of the aggression mercenaries to the initiatives launched by the Supreme Political Council revealed the malicious intentions of the other party, and its indifference to the suffering of the Yemeni people as a result of the siege, aggression and roadblocks.”
The statement called on the United Nations and humanitarian organizations to play their role in putting pressure on the aggression forces and their mercenaries to open the roads and accept the initiatives of the Supreme Political Council and the national delegation that it launched more than once in order to alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people.
